10 Christmas Gifts Ideas for Your Cat

It is so hard to come up with new ideas for my cats each year for Christmas! I have gotten dozens of stocking stuffer toys, new bowls and a bunch of thing they didn’t enjoy for more than 5 minutes. While every cat is different, here are some new ideas that your kitty might like to find under the tree.

Interactive Fish Swimming Toy

I have a cat who hates to drink water from his bowl, but often dips his paw in mine. This toy allows him to dip and swat at the fish to his hearts content. Warning: This toy can get messy with water on the floor so I usually set it up in the shower or tub floor.

Floppy Fish Toy

This is a dry game for your fish loving feline. One of my cats love the flopping of these battery operated fish, but the other is afraid of it. It comes in a two pack, which is perfect if you have two kitties to buy for this year!

Tree Kitty Condo

While looking for a new kitty condo, I stumbled across this cute tree condo. The cats can hide among the leaves while sleeping on the little shelves inside the tree. My cats even swipe each other from the safety of the branches.

Cat Water Fountain

My cats are such picky water drinkers. Bowls don’t work for them. I had a daisy water fountain, but my husband thought it was too feminine for my male cat. This one gives them a little bowl to drink from while the water bubbles up.

Cat Thermo Pod

This is such a great idea for older cats or cats who sleep in a colder space. Strangely, my younger cat is more apt to go inside and lay down. Again, you never know if the cats will like these things or not.

Butterfly Ball

I love this interactive toy! My cats enjoy watching the birds in the window or on YouTube, but this ball allows them to almost touch the butterflies. Sometimes they are overstimulated from this toy so I have to put it away for awhile.

Cat Meal Dispensing Toy

My cats were so jealous of the dogs version of this toy, so I had to get one for them. I usually put this out when I will be late to feed them dinner. I fill it with kibble, not treats. They pick up on how it works very fast – especially after watching the dogs play with theirs.

Fuzzy Cat Bed

This was another addition to our house after the cats took over the dog beds. While they had the ability to sleep on our bed and all the other soft furniture, they wanted a space of their own nearby. Enter Fuzzy Cat Beds. Currently, one is under our bed and another sits on the ottoman.

Interactive Feather Toy

Working at home with two cats means I am constantly trying to entertain them while simultaneously working. Not always an easy task! So, when I found this toy on Amazon, I knew it would be perfect for my kitties. It rolls and flips the feathers around for them to swat at and chase through the room.

Catnip Balls

If your cat likes catnip, this is the entertainment you have been looking for. They will rub up on it, lick it, try to bit it or just guard it from any other pets getting near it. The best part is that you can return it if your cats are not interested, because you never know how your cats are going to react.
